Education

Squeaky Wheel offers youth media arts education programs year-round through out-of-school, weekend, and summer workshops for middle and high school students. Scroll down to the program calendar to learn more and register for individual sessions.

Snacks and bottled water are provided for all programs. Students are always welcome to bring their own snacks or drinks, and for full day programs, be sure to bring a lunch. All fall programs meet at Squeaky Wheel.

Tech Arts For Girls

Session 1: October 3-24; Session 2: October 31-November 21

Saturdays 10am-1pm

Youth Film Lab

October 6-November 24

Tuesday/Thursday 4-6pm, teens in grades 8-12. Youth Film Lab is an intensive collaborative filmmaking program for teens. Work with your peers to write, direct, film, and edit a short film! Sliding scale fee, no one turned away for lack of funds. Scroll down to register.

 

Digital Art & Technology Access 2 Week Summer Session

October 3-December 12

Saturdays 10am-1pm

DATA is for neurodivergent teens ages 13-19. DATA is free for all participants. Limited spots are available by application.
DATA is made possible through a grant from The Children’s Guild Foundation.
