This project-based workshop will dive into the form and techniques involved in the construction of videos. Using existing forms the class will break down videos to their pre and post-production elements to create a short work. Gain the skills you’ll need to light, shoot, and record your own videos and advertisements.
Topics include:
- Manipulating a camera to properly expose shots
- Basic audio recording for film
- Communicating ideas with cinematic grammar
- Preparing footage for editing
