Squeaky Wheel’s public hours for its equipment rentals, media lab, and exhibition gallery are Tuesday–Saturday, 12–5pm.
Please note that due to certain workshops and events, these hours are subject to change. A monthly calendar with updated hours for our media lab and exhibition gallery can be found at the bottom of this page.
Squeaky Wheel is closed on the following days:
New Year’s Eve | New Year’s Day | Labor Day | Memorial Day | Independence Day | Thanksgiving Day | Friday after Thanksgiving Day | Christmas Eve | Christmas Day.
Parking & Transportation
Squeaky Wheel is located on the ground floor of the Market Arcade building in downtown Buffalo. The Market Arcade building can be entered from both Main Street and Washington Street; Squeaky Wheel’s entrance is near Main Street and Chippewa Street side of the Market Arcade.
Parking is available on the street in downtown Buffalo. Meters are active Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm. A 15-minute drop-off parking location can be found on Main Street, between Chippewa and Tupper Streets. Private parking options are available in downtown Buffalo.
We are conveniently located near numerous public transportation routes, including the Metro Rail, and several bus routes. Bike racks can be found on Main Street.
Our venue is on the ground floor inside the historic Market Arcade building, near the Main Street entrance of the building. Doors to Squeaky Wheel are 32 inches wide and have doorknobs.
The Market Arcade has double doors on both the Main Street and Washington Street entrances. Individual doors’ entrances are 26 inches. They have handles that swing open, but do not have automated buttons to operate.
The bathrooms of the Market Arcade have grab-bars and have room for a power wheelchair. The bathroom doors have a handlebar on the inside of the door and must be pushed to open.
Please note that the Market Arcade’s bathrooms are currently gender-segregated.
Patrons with disabilities can contact us with questions or for assistance, including entering and exiting the Market Arcade, and priority seating at events.
