Digital Poetics
December 5, 2015 @ 7:00 pm– 9:00 pm EST
$7Alan Bigelow & Tammy McGovern Perform Live with Sound/Text/Image
Digital Poetics, a one night only performance where the artists will explore the genre of digital poetics using text, image and sound combined with interactive and playful digital narratives. In 2010, This is Not a Poem, a web based collaborative project, the viewer can digitally deconstruct the poem Trees by Joyce Kilmer, through the use of their mouse and control the rate of the manipulation and oral feedback. Alan Bigelow has been using the internet as a medium since 1999, and has created over 30 works of “Flash Fiction”, which is how he punningly describes his finished pieces. This event is part of Squeaky Wheel’s 30th Anniversary celebration.
