Christine Choy presents: Who Killed Vincent Chin?

Who Killed Vincent Chin? (1989) is a gripping documentary directed by Christine Choy & Renee Tajima-Peña that focuses on the events surrounding the murder of Chinese-American man, Vincent Chin, by two white autoworkers from Detroit in 1982. Nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary, we will be screening this groundbreaking work with Christine Choy in person, who will lead a discussion following the screening.

Christine Choy is a New York City based filmmaker who has won numerous awards including a John Simon Guggenheim and a Rockefeller. She currently teaches at NYU Tisch School of Performing Arts.
