The Image in Its Absence is a group exhibition and public events featuring work on archives that have been displaced and destroyed, and how communities care for and imagine them in their absence.
In this special workshop, participants will learn about creative approaches and strategies for making experimental films using no-cost archival, found, and/or reappropriated materials.

No Other Land was recorded between 2019–2023 and shows the destruction of the occupied West Bank's Masafer Yatta by Israeli soldiers; and the alliance which develops between the Palestinian activist Basel and Israeli journalist Yuval. The film will be followed by a discussion lead by LOLA and Jewish Voice for Peace Buffalo.
